That's what we wanted to know. So we asked the universe. Welcome to this episode of What's the Universe Say About That?

Hi there, glad you're here. 

(1:07) Michael Lannon

Hey everybody. You know, a lot of times we have episodes and there's reoccurring themes. And one of the most prevalent theme is we're not alone. And this can be really comforting and provide a lot of peace, those words for me anyway.

But I thought sometimes I like to know how things work. Not just what we should know, but how do they work? And I thought this would be a good kind of episode to talk about if we're not alone, what does that mean? How does it work? Does that mean there are angels looking over us at all times, spirits, God, how does it work? And how are we to kind of embrace that knowledge and the peace that comes from we're not alone? Some people could find it scary, you know? Watching all your, over you 24 hours a day and knowing all your secrets. So how do we kind of reconcile that, so? All right.

It's so you, wanting to know how everything works. 

(2:16) Michael Lannon

Exactly. And you tell me!

Okay. All right, well, let's see what the universe says about that. Okay, here we go.

(2:37) The Universe

It is good to be with you, as always. This is a lovely question. It is no surprise it is coming from you.

How does this all work? What's happening? Why is it that you are all not alone? How is it that you are not alone? 

(3:02) Michael Lannon 

Perfect. 

(3:06) The Universe

As you've heard many times, everything is energy. Everything is energy.

Energy is in the unseen and the seen. We've spoken about this many times. The non-physical energy, the non-material energy that exists in truth, that is real, comes from a source of infinite love.

It is important that each one understands, feels, receives this loving presence. And that loving presence comes in many forms. Yes, your God. Yes, your loved ones. Yes, your angels. There are many forces of energy that manifest for your benefit.

There are different forms of energy. The fact that you might feel a loved one's presence who has passed, that is real. How you might feel an energy around you when you can't see it, that is real.

But this connection that the physical one, the human, has with this unseen energy, it comes in the ways that are most meaningful for you. Some have a natural affinity with angelic energy. Others have a deep connection with a loved one who has transitioned from the physical to the non-physical.

You see, the loving energy from which all of this comes is of the same infinite source of love. Each of you are meant to receive and feel the presence of that love. Some of you can open yourselves up to love in one form or another.

It's easier for you to feel it. It's easier for you to accept it. And therefore, it's easier for you to receive it.

All of these beautiful, beautiful manifestations of love come through in the way that works for you. You see, this universal infinite source of love will shape and form itself in the way that it can serve you best. Sometimes there are messages or feelings that come from a past loved one because it is easier for you to receive that message in that way from that energy.

At other times, there are messages or feelings of a presence that is different because that message, that loving guidance, that presence had a way of breaking through for you. So you see, all of this comes from this infinite source of love because after all, everything is connected. Everything is connected to this beautiful, infinite source of universal love.

And so it takes many forms. Just as each of you in the human experience, in the material world, take on different forms. But see, you too are all connected in ways that you cannot see.

You are energetically connected. So you see, there are many forms that exist in the non-physical as there are many forms that exist in the material, each taking on its own unique energy. But in the non-physical, it is without all the human trappings, meaning the mind trappings.

So that non-physical presence is more purely felt as a sense of love. Everything is always present. Does this mean that your past loved one, your grandmother watches you shower? The only focus of the non-physical is love.

The only thing that matters in the non-physical is love. And the connection that is made to those who are in the material and physical world will come, will be delivered, will use the energy that is most effective in reaching you. It is all real. It is all real. Does this make sense? 

(11:02) Michael Lannon 

Completely. You know, I think I have this or had this simplistic, very humanistic view that the way it is here is the way it is there.

And like there's a control booth with a bunch of people in there watching your every move. And what you just explained is it's energy. It's not what we experience here physically. I guess. Is that correct? 

(11:35) The Universe

 It is. It is.

(11:37) Michael Lannon

So love, when you talk about it's all love and we're loved and we're all connected through love, that's energy. It's just, it's love, loving energy. 

(11:48) The Universe

 It is.

(11:49) Michael Lannon

Yeah, okay. 

(11:50) The Universe

It is. And it's not just energy. Energy is everything. Energy is everything. It is everywhere.

It is always present and it never ever ends. So the energy that fills a loved one here in the material world, when the human form is released and that energy transitions without the material form, the energy does not end. The love does not end.

It is in a different form than you are used to, but it's loving existence is just as real. Energy is everywhere and everything and never ending. 

(13:03) Michael Lannon

That was great. Thank you. That explains it all for me, clarity. Not so scary when you explain it like that.

(13:14) The Universe

To be surrounded by an infinite source of love, we would hope that that would be a comfort to each and every one of you. It is there whether you see it, feel it, acknowledge it, or even accept it. It is there always for you.

(13:58) Michael Lannon 

Beautiful. 

So simple. That’s cool. You know, you talk about, like in your book, and you use the metaphor of shine and shine your light and all that.

This is so non-human in terms of how to explain it. So you use metaphors. Light, even love.

These are all things that we kind of know here, but the light metaphor is kind of interesting. The light is, if it's energy, light, everyone knows gear and anywhere. Light is energy here on earth, and you can be in a room that's brightly lit, but you can close your eyes and not acknowledge it.

You can put on all sorts of clothes so you don't feel as heat. So you can do a whole bunch of physical things to say to yourself, it's not there, but it is there. The energy is always around you.

That's really cool. 

(15:10) 

So, you know, I had an experience where there was a connection to energy that I had never experienced in my life, kind of rocked my world. And it made so much sense, not in an irrational or even an irrational way, which is kind of how we think here.

It's either rational or it's irrational.  This was almost in a super rational way that this experience I had with energy, it made sense to me. It's hard to explain, but it just was so natural and obvious that I couldn't believe I had never understood it before.

When you connect through guidance, does it feel, does this feel like energy to you? Are you feeling energy or…

(16:03) Mary Obana

It's a great question. It feels, it feels like love. 

(16:08) Michael Lannon 

Really? 

(16:09) Mary Obana

Yeah, it's this really comforting and beautiful thing.

Michael Lannon 

So it's not like electricity going through your body. Bzzzz!

Mary Obana

No, no, no, no.

It's like very soothing and comforting and beautiful and like, yeah, yeah. 

(16:32) Michael Lannon 

Interesting. 

(16:33) Mary Obana

Like a big hug, you know? Yeah, it's really, it's beautiful.

That's why people often ask me, you know, am I tired after I connect? I never am because it's just so beautiful. It's like tapping into this beautiful source of loving energy. So no, it never feels…You know, there's different type of energy.

Does it energize you? 

(16:56) Mary Obana

In the most grounding of ways. You know, it's not energized like, wahoo, let's go! You know, it's not, it's like, you know, it's just like beautifully fueling.

Like a nap? Is that too soothing? 

(17:16) Mary Obana

No, no. It's more active, you know? But it feels like, it feels just like, I don't know, not restorative, but it feels just, hmmm.

Nourishing

(17:31) Mary Obana

Nourishing! That's a great word. That's what it is, nourishing. It's not like, like, wahoo energy, you know? It's just like nourishing.

Very cool. Very cool.

Well, there we go. You know, it's funny. I wanted to figure out how it works and I never, after all the stuff that we've talked about and all the experiences we've had, that just concisely and precisely explained it in ways that it kind of makes sense to me. There isn't some control booth.

Yes. It's just that light in the room. It's the energy that surrounds us all.

That's pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah.
